Thank you for your interest in our EASYTRON App. We greatly appreciate the trust you have placed in us. We take data protection very seriously. Our data protection policy is in line with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and Telemedia Act (TMG). We take the greatest care and apply the highest technical and organisational security standards to protect your data from unauthorised access.
In the following we provide information about the collection of personal data when using EASYTRON App. Personal data is any data that may be attributed to you personally, e.g., name, address, email address, user behaviour.
We only collect personal data necessary for the provision of the technical services offered by the EASYTRON App (e.g., IP address, MAC address, etc.).
We maintain up to date technical measures to ensure data security, in particular to protect your personal data from risks inherent in data transmission and from third parties obtaining access to the data. These are adapted to the latest state of the art.
Data is disclosed to companies affiliated with Stiebel Eltron, to development partners and, where applicable, to server operators.
When using the App, we record the name of your smartphone in order to enable the functionality of the App.
The App requires access to the following:
- Photos/media in order to create room and profile pictures
- Camera/picture gallery in order to create room and profile pictures
- Write memory contents in order to cache the pictures recorded in the App. After transmission to the EASYTRON App. the pictures are no longer stored on the operating device.
- Miscellaneous/data in order to enable remote control, the App accesses the EASYTRON Connect Server
Data is stored temporarily to allow the services to be provided and is then deleted.
The EASYTRON system does not analyse user behaviour via tracking tools (Apptrace, Adeven, App Annie, Google Analytics, or similar)
You are entitled to access the personal data stored in relation to you, and in addition you have a right to the correction of incorrect data, and to blocking and deletion.
Given that the personal data is only required temporarily in order for the services to be provided, you may at any time object to the use of your personal data by deactivating the connection to the "EASYTRON Connect Server" e.g., via the setup wizard. This results in an automatic deletion of the data.
